Merry Money and the Merry Men
Merry Money slot game has a Merry Men theme, and Robin Hood and the Sherwood Forest. In fact the background of the game is the lush dark green of the Forest, and the reels spin over this background.
Symbols include Robin Hood himself, who is the Bonus symbol, a Bag of Gold that is the Wild symbol, an Archery Target and a Merry Money Logo, which can become stacked on the reels. There are also the traditional playing cards from ten to the Ace, all done in different colours, and which represent the lower paying symbols. When you spin the reels there is a sound like a sword being drawn, as well as some deep music.
This game is by Barcrest, released in 2013, and includes five reels and ten fixed pay lines. There are several bonus games, including a Pick’em Game called Hall of Plenty, a free spins game, and an easy game where you pick from one of the Archery Targets.
Valuable Symbols in the Game
The Merry Money Logo is the most valuable symbol, with four of them worth 150 coins, but for finding five on a pay line you will be awarded 250 coins. This symbol appears stacked quite often, which means multiple big wins across different lines. The other symbols that will give you payouts are the playing cards. Aces and Kings will give you two hundred coins for finding five on the reels, and the other cards will earn you 100 coins for five. There are lots of small wins you can earn, and you will be given ten coins for finding three of any of the playing cards.
If you find three of the Archery Targets anywhere on the reels the screen will flash Pick Me, and this will trigger the Pick Me bonus round. The Archery Target in Merry Money is the simplest of the bonus rounds. You choose a Target and it will reveal a multiplier of the wager you placed for that spin. You are awarded the prize, shown the prizes you did not win, and then it is back to the base game.
Robin Hood’s Hall of Plenty
Finding three of the Robin Hood symbol will activate either the Hall of Plenty feature, or the free spins bonus game. You select your bonus by clicking on Robin, who then shoots an arrow at a target. If he hits yellow, you will get the Hall of Plenty bonus, and if he hits red you get the free spins bonus round. In the Hall of Plenty bonus you will spin a wheel to land on a number, and Robin will open that number of doors. The Sheriff is asleep at the end of the Hall, and the idea is to grab some treasure chests without waking him up and having the women and children of the castle chasing you out. You will be rewarded by managing to get several chests out before the Sheriff summons his guards.
The Merry Money Free Spins
The Merry Money Free spins round takes you to another game with a wheel. You will be free spins that appeared when you spun the wheel, and these will be given to you as you walk up a path. You will be awarded your total at the end. There is a wide range of bets to choose from, and the Merry Money Autoplay lets you spin up to fifty times automatically.
